I couldn't find a picture for this because my dumb internet blocker blocks photobucket...annoying...
Ok. So today I woke up and my head hurt. Pretty bad. I am old enough to know that when you wake up and your head is hurting, it is not at all a good thing. When you wake up the only thing going on in your head should be "What the heck. Why am I awake."-- a question that is normally answered within seconds of waking up. That is not the case for me today though... I woke up and my head hurt. And my stomach hurt. I thought that was because I was hungry...so I went and ate some awesome cereal. But both my head and stomach still hurt. So I figured, "It's probably just a headache/stomachache, it'll go away later." You know one thing you should never ever ever ever ever do? Assume that the pain will go away later. It won't. You'll just feel stupid because you're waiting for the pain to go away and it won't. How can I describe this so well? Because I, believe it or not (but you probably do), did it. And now it is almost half past 5 PM and my head and stomach still hurt. I took a nap and it got better, but it still hurts. :( sadness. I hate being sick...and what's weird is that I almost never get sick. Until now. Now I am sick. So sick, in fact, that I had to miss math class today, which leaves me effectively screwed in that subject. Great.
On another, weirder note, i just learned that it sounds really really weird when your mom says the word "barf." I don't know why, it just does. There you go. I also learned that my little sister Lily, who's stomach is roughly the size of a quarter, can eat a large brownie square and scoop of ice cream-even though she "wasn't hungry enough" to finish her food. How is this possible? Magic. Just kidding... But the truth is (and you will be astonished to hear that) I don't really know how on earth it's possible. It just apparently is. So, back to my original guess. Magic...
Why don't you tell us about those rabbits, George...

Rebelution

So...I'm back. I wish I could say I'm back in black, but seeing as I'm not wearing any black right now, that would be dishonest. Anyways...
Today I went to a conference called Rebelution. It was hosted by the guys who wrote the book Do Hard Things, and WOW. This conference was amazing. I haven't finished the book yet so I'll hold off on that review, but I will tell you about the conference (already doing that. moving on...). So these two twin brothers, Alex and Brett Harris. They're both 19 years old, and they have an incredible story. Go get their book. Their main message is that teenagers today are basically wasting our lives. Except it doesn't sound that horrible when they say it...and they can actually back it up...but anyway, they talk about how the expectations of teenagers are incredibly low in our society, and how we're supposed to (as God's children) do much more than is expected of us today.
They told stories of teenagers doing incredible things, just because they were obedient to God and were willing to do hard things without fear of failure. My favorite of the stories was about a boy named David Glasgow, who at age 9 started working on a ship. He learned everything he could about working on the ship, and when he was 12 he saw his first battle (during the war of 1812). After a successful battle, David was asked to sail the ship-full of British prisoners, including their captain-all the way back to America. And he did it. He was 12. And he grew up to become the American Navy's first Admiral. But it was all because he wasn't afraid of people having high expectations of him. Amazing conference anyway... Go to www.therebelution.com to see what they're all about. WELL? What are you still doing here? GO DANGIT.

HA! This is not about you. Is it?

Konichiwa.
I like that picture. "It makes my brain smile." Lol not really I just thought it was like really awesome. Anyway...
Today I decided to make a blog. Why? Because I have too much time. Kidding. I don't have enough time. But, too much time or not, I am making one anyway. And this is it. I feel so special :D just kidding. You're special! No, wait. That's a lie. You're not special. And do you know why? Because this, my not special friend, is communism. Just kidding, this is America. But unfortunately we are heading in that direction... Why am I having an argument with myself? Because of Philangies. Oh and I thought I would mention (because of the imminent threat on my life if I do not) that Becca says hi to you. Unless you are Becca, saying hi to yourself-which would be weird o.O I call that "the Chad face" because he does it all the freaking time. But Chad is so freaking awesome that it doesn't matter that he does it all the time. Plus, he's got me doing it too...
